Advocacy & Oversight

An independent expert on your side of the table.

When another consulting firm or NetSuite Professional Services is implementing your system, we act as your advocate. Most companies implement an ERP once or twice, so they don't know what they don't know. We provide the check and balance: reviewing the scope, the design, and the work, and raising problems while they are still cheap to fix.

Independent by design

Paul is a member of NetSuite's program for independent advisors. You get someone who knows how NetSuite and its partners work, with no stake in who delivers your implementation.

Signs this is the right fit

If more than one of these sounds familiar, it is worth a conversation.

  • You are about to sign an implementation SOW and are not sure it covers what you need
  • Your team has never been through an ERP implementation
  • Design decisions are hard to evaluate or push back on
  • Change orders keep arriving
  • Go-live is approaching and testing feels thin
  • Leadership wants an independent view of how the project is really going

We needed someone in our corner who truly understood NetSuite and could advocate for our interests throughout the process. When complex questions arose, Paul provided clear guidance and wasn't afraid to push back when something didn't serve our best interests.

Common questions

Do you replace our implementation partner?

No. Your partner builds the system. We represent your interests and make sure what gets built is what you need.

Will this slow the project down?

The goal is the opposite. Problems caught during design cost far less than problems found after go-live. We work with your partner, not against them.

Why does an accounting background matter?

Many implementation problems are accounting problems: chart of accounts design, revenue recognition, intercompany, and the close. As a former CPA, Paul spots them early.

Can you join a project already underway?

Yes. We start by reviewing where the project stands, then focus on the decisions and milestones still ahead.

Is there a conflict of interest?

We are not delivering your implementation, so our only interest in the project is yours.

Do you have a relationship with NetSuite?

Paul is a member of the NetSuite Advisory & Selection Firm Program as an IT Advisory Consultant, a program for independent, third-party advisors. That gives us direct access to NetSuite resources while we stay on your side of the project.
